In 2009 The iLembe District Municipality embarked on an ambitious project to digitise the heritage routes within it's municipality. Which include Inkosi Albert Luthuli's home,the ultmatum tree,Kwa Dukuza and the rich cultural knowlege of King Shaka and general Zulu history that is found in iLembe.
Part 1 deals with the idea behind the project and Kwa Dukuza, the homestead of King Shaka. We get to see where the King lived,where he took his bath, which spring he drank from and the mythical footprint which legend says it belongs to the King himself.We take a tour through the museum that was erected in the King's honour.We also find out why was the district called iLembe
